Finally, to take full advantage of the i5-9600K's overclocking capabilities, it will be necessary to have an adequate motherboard and cooling system. 870GHz (all core speed).

Another aspect to consider is the absence of a heatsink in the package, an element that will then have to be purchased separately. The test is performed by mounting the processor on an Asus Strix Z390-e Gaming, 8x2gb of Vegeance RAM, SamsunGevo 860 from 1 tera, Noctua low profile for cooling, Radeon Vega64, Bios almost by default because I'm not a fan of overclocking and the like (maybe 20 years ago), I prefer reliability to random power. The processor usually runs at 44-degree Celcius.
