Some of my favourite early quotes that show just how big and bright Persephone’s personality is include ‘My head is attached to my hair, Mother. Obs- you came to my place, decided that you will be living here without me agreeing I am not planning to be nice to you, but later they sorted that out and I enjoyed how their story. I really enjoyed it. Who, having been forced for so long to act a certain way, rebels when she is given the freedom and love to be truly herself.

I wish I could meet this version of Persephone and befriend her because she is one sassy BAMF. Into a Goddess struggling with warring emotions of loving her newly acquired freedoms and learning about who she is becoming whilst it feels like a betrayal to her mother. I’m sad there isn’t more.

The details are insane. Persephone is a kick-arse female character. I loved all the characters. Then 'blooming' (get it 😉) into the Queen she was destined to be, growing into her power and owning her desires and needs unapologetically.
