The Clip Jam is smaller however and still retains the same basic SanDisk Clip Family design. I should’ve never betrayed my baby! It is simple to use: from drag and drop files when loading music onto to it, to its intuitive display which allows you to find everything you need from the first time you turn it on -- although on this latter point I have a small gripe which is moving backwards from an album, instead of taking you to the artist list it returns to the music folder in general, but this is hardly a huge problem.

I think this is one of the best MP3 players you can get without getting too fancy, and would definitely recommend it to a friend. Honestly the only con I view as a problem is the 2 volume setting thing. The SanDisk Clip Jam is perfect.

I'd been using an iPod nano for years because of it's convenient size. Needless to say when I plugged it into my studio monitor headphones (yes it has a headphone jack despite being one eighth the size of the iPhone), and set up the equalizer… I was blown away by how solid the sound quality is, especially for the price but even just for the size of the device. Because of my search history I'm assuming.

Internal battery holds a good charge. It is loud enough on the Normal setting for me to use on a bus full of people, but that setting is a little loud for a quiet area for me.

5 stars given because the negative is minor and I like everything else more than enough to compensate. I'm a cyclist of 150 to 300 miles a week. Need to push a lot of butons to get used to it. For the price Amazon is selling these, I bought three.
