About this deal
ORIENT Sport Mako 2 & Ray 2 Specification Table:
With the introduction of the new Orient caliber F6922 and a 120 click more robust bezel, this model represents a qualitative leap in the ORIENT Sport collection. The Mako II builds upon the Mako legacy. This new mechanical movement has removed the need for a second crown at the two o'clock position. It has transitioned away from the reliable 46943 automatic movement to the more robust Caliber F6922 that is automatic, hand-winding and hacking. With so many diver watches available, it could be said with confidence that the Mako is one of the top affordable mechanical diver watches on the market today. The diving bezel has also been upgraded to be 120 click for improved precision. With its advanced technical specifications and elegant design, it is the perfect watch for those looking for reliable performance without sacrificing elegance. These changes have definitely improved the utility of the Mako as a diver watch, all the while preserving the classic aesthetic that the Mako had become known for.

Fantastic value for money, really good finishing, the dial looks very crisp with its matt black finish, hollow end links fit well so no rattle on the bracket, very comfortable. That one has a much rougher winding action than the first, purchased from Germany. Only downsides, pressed clasp ewwh! It now runs at -4sec/day].

Also beware of the tight screw crown. The bezel is quite hard to rotate as it is hard to grip but I will never use it anyway. Overall I'm extremely happy with the purchase. Better than I ever imagined!

Too gem like Then fix the date by changing the time. The one drawback with this watch, out of the box, may be it's weight: with the bracelet it weighs 156g (5. Negatives?

All manufacturers of divers watches (and many large quartz 'sport' watches) tend to produce large, thick and heavy watches: it seems to be the 'fashion trend'. Main review:So far I have four of these in slightly different versions (colours). It's obvious that at this price range you don't get a sapphire. The crown guard covers most of it so there's very little surface to grab so you end up digging in with your thumbnails.

I will keep track of this, however, I am not too worried about it as the watch itself is less than £150! Markers and hands are bright and clear and the lume lasts for at least 3 hours. Only mineral. One might say it is now 'run in'.
