The smell is pleasant, but rather ordinary as I find. Just the right middle ground, if you don't want a wetlook, but also don't want totally wild hair to flitter around with every gust of wind. No disappointments here! I was blown away by the volume this was able to add without using a ton of product.

Overall, I would highly recommend this product for anyone looking for a way to add volume without adding stiffness to hair. This spray is back on the pricey end but worth its weight in gold in my opinion.
