Wrong Place Wrong Time by Gillian McAllisterI give this book 5 starsWOW I LOVED IT! The ending is bittersweet and without a doubt completes this story well, however will leave you wanting more. This was the first novel by Gilly McAllister that I've had the pleasure of reading. Written in the perfect way for a readers imagination to flutter.

I found this book provoked nostalgia. It wasn’t just something I enjoyed; it was more of an experience, unique to fictional writing and rich in lessons to be taken away. #WrongPlaceWrongTime is sharp, clever, and beautifully observed. It’s these invisible links, which stretch into our pasts and our futures, which drive the narrative of the story - and which, despite the fantastical elements, deeply resonate with our own lived experience.

At the end of this book, if like me you can think, 'ah, that was so clever' and then miss reading it for a while, you'll have enjoyed Wrong Place, Wrong Time as much as I did. There were some parts that had me literally gasping my surprise, and others that I worked out, but in no way did that ruin my enjoyment of the book, it just made me want to read on even more to find out if I was right.

I was captivated by each character, their personalities shining through with powerful descriptions. Via an ever-evolving trip back in time, she finds that nothing about her family is as it seems.
