Reviews
Raffa Fustagno
The movie aired around the world for weeks (even months) and had very animated scenes of betrayal in the story. The Irish girl who, when she moved to London, started participating in writing groups and being the editor of a large company, now emerged as an immense revelation.
The author died in 2011, leaving 5 more published works. A year later his book would become a movie with a cast of current faces: Jeremy Irons and Juliette Binoche were among them. I am completely in love with this story of forbidden desire.
Netflix recently launched the series Obsessive Desire. The book, as controversial as the movie, told the story of a renowned doctor who was entering a political career but found himself involved with the future wife of his oldest son.
In 1990, Josephine Hart, an Irishwoman, released the book Damage (in Brazil it would be called Losses and Damages) but only a year later it would be distributed in all bookstores in the country and sold to other locations, and translated into 26 languages.
