Pay attention to the electricity bill on the other hand. I got my electrician friend to check my fuses in shed and he told me the fuse in fuse board wasn't powerful enough to run the heater hence reason it kept tripping out.

It does take a while to heat up! When it worked, the water was really nice and Jan was able to sit in the pool late in the evening. I also recommend using a bubble cover to have a good temperature of around 25° to 30°, leave it on for a long time to gain degrees in your pool.

Sorry for the long winded read but needed to tell MY findings, I'm sure others will have different findings. Use a pool cover if you have one to keep heat in.

I ran pump and heater overnight for around 10 hours, pool temp had gone from 18° to around 28° so very happy with that! This seems to work fine.

But once heated then it's amazing! Do not use heater without pump running! Only thing is that you need to purchase an outdoor cable that can take the load of it!
