The image quality is fantastic and built in speakers are a nice addition, albeit not the best for daily use. For work, I connect a MacBook Pro via USB-C which supports 4K video output and power delivery to charge the laptop. There's nothing at this price better than this monitor, ultimately I returned it because the BGR panel. Both are gaming monitors and are reviewed as being excellent.

Some nice to have features like picture in picture & a built in KVM switch. The first monitor had a bunch of dead pixels in the top right quadrant. Lost faith in Gigabyte panel quality, not sure what they playing at, whether they send QC rejects to Amazon and ship the good ones direct or via Computer resellers. Purchased as an upgrade from an Acer 27" 1080p monitor.

This 34 screen is perfect not too big even in tight desk. Super features like 144Hz/1ms, and built in KVM are great, but let down not once but twice by a bunch of dead pixels. You don't need to do any tweaking in the OSD to make it look it's best as it already looks good out of the box. Unfortunately, my particular unit developed a light bleed issue (as pictured) after a month of use which may be a one-off or a common durability concern – only time will tell.

Gigabyte have outdone themselves here along with other offerings such as the M27 series. You can't really notice until you have a normal RGB panel next to it, the text in apps like word and notepad just looks off, even with cleartype on.

Straight away the difference in clarity stepping up to 1440p is a great improvement and the screen has been comfortable to use for extended periods. Will try my luck with HP and their equivalent HP X34.

Admittedly I “downgraded” from a 165Hz Pixio PX277 but the -21Hz difference is well worth it for the ultra wide aspect ratio. Since purchasing this monitor I've subsequently bought a second one for another build, and would happily suggest this if it fits your requirements and budget.

Amazon customer service was brilliant and a replacement was despatched within 48 hours. Other than that, works great both with a MacBook and with a windows pc and has quite thin bezels, although part of the bezel is nicely hidden within the screen (see the image). Really like my amateur Lightroom editing in the Gigabyte compared to the ASUS. I really like the little joystick for the menus, makes life so much easier for messing around with the settings!
