If, like me, adulting after an 'interesting' childhood feels like a skill for which you missed all the classes, this is a lovely, straightforward helping hand from someone who's done the hard yards. The comfort I found in the reassuring themes caught me by surprise and served as a gentle cwtch in preparation for a pretty awful winter.

I loved this book so much, fantastic tips on everyday life hacks and more serious issues such as bereavement and sound financial advice all delivered in Sali’s no-nonsense sisterly way. I absolutely loved this book. Was given this as Christmas gift and have finished it already! I pre-ordered this book and have hardly put it down since I got it!

So warm and cosy, I loved it. Sorts out everything I need from how to get rid of the stink of cigarette smoke after parties to Roger Moore styled vodka martinis and the cure for the hangover that may follow that. Every time you read it- you come away learning something you never knew and wish someone had told you. A brilliant day to day book to dip into with invaluable life lessons.

There is not one scrap of filler - this is full to the brim of wisdom and kind advice from a writer who says it perfectly every time. It's not a book about how to be a 'perfect' adult, all 'holy grail' skincare, kale smoothie or insta-worthy interiors, but a content one who has built a safe and happy life for themselves and their loved ones in an unpredictable world.
