Highly recommended read, like me you won’t want to put it down. Then It started to get bit strange and almost silly, shame as I thought I was going to really like thisI also felt it went on big too long, but in the next breath I felt sad when I finished itMy thoughts have now gone from 3 to 4 stars . Definitely would recommend Lisa Stone books.

It has so many layers and would make a great read for the dark autumn nights that are looming! 5 🎃 for the additional xx months later section at the end. The cottage was a great read and i thoroughly enjoyed it & have gone on too purchase 3 more books by Lisa Stone.

The cottage set deep in the heart of dense woodland brought so much to the table. Shows true love can over come anything that life throws it, but saying that this crime thriller book, not a romance novel. I felt it wasn't really needed and didn't add anything additional to the story. Ooh, the atmosphere was set from the off in this book.

Won't add anymore as to keep spoiler free . Highly recommended I found myself almost checking over my shoulder while Jan was trying to get to the root cause of why Tinder the dog kept getting agitated. Something, or someone, is out there.
