All other buttons including dpi and left and right are excellent. I'm not sure if this is how a gaming mouse should be.

Only Logitech Gaming Software, but yes, Logitech Gaming Software is better because, it is lighter, and has nearly 99% of the functions, including personal scripting and coding with the mouse functions. The G102 is slightly larger too. If you have more money, I suggest going for the G403 ( INR 2400) or G502 (INR 5400) .

I also have my scroll wheel set to trigger Ctrl/Shift/S when clicked, which launches my screencap tool. Simply explained, there are 3 different profiles you can edit in the mouse (8 colors for them), this means that you dont actually have just 4 new buttons compared from a regular mouse, rather 12 possible buttons combinations if you tweak the settings correctly. and 20G acceleration. Cons :Nothing much, the mouse is a little light for my liking. It took me some time to actually start using the side buttons. At arrival, the box was misleadingly small, but this is actually alright because the mouse size is average; not to large, nor small.

Writing this review after a year and a month of usage . Keystrokes have a good tactile feel. Mercury sensor Inside g102 is too old, and I think this One has a modified locked down version of modern HERO sensor. Upon testing in my PS4 console, the mouse was already key-binded with some weird random combinations.

I can do all that with my mouse now. My hand is about 15, 16 cm long including palm + fingers. In recap, the product is good and looks good but you might need to invest a little bit of time to make it to work just as you desire it to work on the games you want to play, but nothing too bad at all. It feels solid, the plastics and rubber materials feel decently crafted; the buttons also feel alright.

I don't do that anymore, so I repurposed the buttons for web surfing. Haven't tried out the function buttons yet, so I couldn't comment on that part. I use a very compact metal, mechanical keyboard with no number pad, etc.
