Once you understand the hows and whys of each root recipe you'll be able to invent entirely new cocktails. I will also complain about the stickers as most others have in their reviews. Also the book is full with beautiful pictures of the cocktails

It's a resource that will elevate your home bartending game to a professional level. "Cocktail Codex" is nothing short of a masterpiece for cocktail enthusiasts, whether you're a seasoned mixologist or a curious beginner. Book is great but whose stupid idea is it to put stickers on a cloth hardback.

It's a solid 5/5 stars from me, and I'll be returning to its pages time and time again for inspiration and guidance. Good thing is that they are for personal use, not for a gift. It’s got a clear crease in the hard binding on the back and the front underneath the fabric which makes it look cheap and hastily thrown together. I’m kind of disappointed in the overall shape and quality of the book.

I beg you to quit struggling to get this crap off my book. The Old Fashioned, Martini, Daiquiri, Sidecar, Whiskey Highball and Flip. This book is perfect for someone who wants to learn how to mix drinks to their own accord and break some rules rather than just have a recipe to go by and nothing else. One of the best cocktails book with a lot of recipes, history,tehniq how to prepare ingredients and how to start to create your own cocktails using well known classics.
