Our shower opening is 800mm. I just added an over the taps shower and needed a curtain pole so I ordered this.

Happy enough to share my fantastic experience with this curtain pole. ETA: (27/9/19) I've just bought two more of these rods to put up some curtains to help keep the house warm for the cooler weather and one of them came in an enormous box.

I only have one shower curtain on it - again, there was a reluctance to add additional weight to it. The Good:--------------------• It feels sturdy and of good quality• The metal is a decent thickness and shouldn't warp, break or bend easily. I wasn't sure this would work for my front door which is in a recess but it fits perfectly with room to spare. Once in place it seems very strong.
