Powerful, punchy descriptions evoke roaring seas and blustery gales; at the same time, May's conversational voice blasts and scolds and questions as she grapples with insights into her own Life. This was a compelling read - a rollercoaster of emotions, realizations & acceptance from which, perhaps, we might all draw a lesson or two.
👏👏👏 Katherine May writes from personal experience with simple yet profound prose to conjure up places and emotions which resonate.
I loved her first book, 'Wintering' & so discovered 'The Electricity of Every Living Thing', which resonated with me even more.
