Unfortunately for us, our bins are emptied once a fortnight. I'll definitely be ordering more, the only downside is it starts to stink when it fills up, but it's only really if you go close up to it that you can smell it. The media could not be loaded.

I highly recommend them I cannot comment on smell, I put it outside having read reviews that said it smelled, so it does not bother me at all, it is near a window that I leave open most of the time and no problematic smell. Since having these the number of flies inside has decreased by a lot and I can’t believe how many flies have already been trapped in them.

I can't say how many flies it's caught so far but enough that it reduced numbers and made using the garden less of a torment. More packed than Ibiza. The only downside to them is that they absolutely stink, similar to the smell of maggots which is probably why the flies love the smell of them but they do the job. Overall I would recommend.

We bought this product after having the most disgusting maggot infestation seeping out from our wheelie bin, so much that it looked like the floor was moving. We live in the countryside around a lot of fields and kept noticing so many flies in the house! I have since covered the fireplace with taped down bin bags and I suspect the fly catcher has been disposing of the flies that have escaped the chimney as well as flies in the area.

Outstanding bit of kit. It’s simple and easy to use, you add water and open the lid, it’s ready to go. This is the second summer we’ve used this product and so far been maggot free. I have topped it up with water when it was running low and it became even more popular with the flies.
