This new set is comfortable and has way more bass than I like. Still not as loud as my old set. They are great for music and for watching movies. I have mine plugged into the monitor port of a Focusrite Scarlet 4i4 audio interface.

That’s why I love my old set even though I’m having issues with them. To give you an idea, I was no longer needing to add the closed captioning to the movies, because the definition for these headphones is super!

Have had these HD 300 Pro for a year and 4 months, and they both failed for the same reason, basically the sound on one of the cups gave out. These headphones combine two great features, amazingly clear sound with great noise shielding via over-ear protection. Incredible.

I used to have the $100 Sennheisers until they failed after a year. . I don’t understand, not all people like so much bass. I love them and I'm happy I got'em.

You will likely want to combine it with an interface or mixer so you can individually control the volume and get some level of amplification. ! Maybe it's just me and my rash of bad luck with headphones.
So bummed. I’ll just have to adapt they do sound clear and good though. I was very tempted to give it 3 stars, but I don' want buyers to be mislead: these are great headphones! I added a pic of them folded, which is another great convenience for storage.
Awesome investment. Clarity is just insane, they're super comfortable, the looks are super modern and the finish is just.
