We used a bunch of ice cubes in our water and then the color changing worked. 4 year old loves it.

All the comments say they don’t work, because it’s not regular cold water you need to put ice in the water and the hot water has to be hot like actually hot not lukewarm. The media could not be loaded. at all. You must use ice water, not just cold tap water.

I then added a few ice cubes to the water and it changed colour right away. She has so many of these. They actually all work and my daughter loooooooves them. My 6-year-old daughter loved it.

It’s super fun. Some dolls change in the hot some in the ice. Great for gifts It definitely does colour change, but you have to follow the instructions.
