Got mine yesterday. Also the heavy bolt pistol seems to be unpainted in comparison with the chainsword which is fine. Nope I got one as a display piece and I've ordered another grey one to paint myself as I have always wanted to paint a larger scaled figure but tbh never found a larger one that I wanted to paint, until now of course (majority are all fantasy themed)The build quality is pretty darned good as is the paint work on the figure itself.

This figure is very durable so you don't have to worry about breaking anything. But coloring is quite basic. Saying that, there's enough there to put it in plenty of poses.

Holy cow this is absolutely awesome! Put side by side with a regular Space Marine, you really get to see how big it really is. Very happy with my purchase !

I'll admit putting the bolt gun and chainsword in his hands was a bit stressful, but everything was fine and he is now defending my desk happily. My only complaints are the basic articulation which greatly limits possible posing, and the golden color of the trims and the aquila is a bit toned down.

The articulation is ok but quite limited. Overall a great job from McFarlane Toys and was delivered from amazon reliably and on time. I love it's size, bulk,weight and general look.

I personally think that this figure is a must have for every warhammer 40k enthusiast. These new mcfarlane marines are great value for money. I only hope these do well and Mcfarlane and Games Workshop collaberate and release more like these in the future.
