I thought sliding the lid would be challenging as I tried it out at a local store (display model) and it felt like it was tight or jamming up, but I was very pleased it slid open and closed with ease. My only complaint is that I wish it were a little bigger. It also locks which will be great for when we have a toddler on our hands. At some point I can always peel them back off and put it back on the wall and change it up to another design.

The bags I got has 4 fingers (see pic) after placing the bag inside and closing the lid, I tugged inside the hole on the bag and noticed the front was very secure but the back end did start to slide off the ring. .

I am just saying the hole could be bigger (perhaps a suggestion to the manufacturer for a future upgrade to this model would be to make the hole oval or rectangular so it can be bigger/longer. Now my Ubbi diaper pail matches my nursery wall decor. I down-rated it one star because it cannot be 13 gallons as it claims, it looks to be about 8 gallons.

We bought this diaper pail over the diaper genie brand specifically because I wanted to be able to use regular trash bags instead of having to buy special ones! Since I already had a few sets of quality wall decals, I simply peeled off a few Winnie the Pooh decals and placed them on both sides of the Ubbi. I ordered the Ubbi late Monday night (when it went on sale from 69. Excellent product, no smell, good quality.

I love that feature of this diaper pail. I will need to test the weight for each type of bag I use in case these scented ones are too flimsy. I clean can with 409 every time I change bag. There is no lock that will prevent the top from being popped open as if you were going to change the bags or anything.

My advise is don't use stickers, get quality decals so it easily peels on and off. The media could not be loaded. Design is good, easy to use.
