One night stand to best friend to fake dating to lovers . Lower level steam in this one, but the tension is extra hot. For a moment I forgot I was reading. The really late third act conflict worked for me- but I can see how that may be frustrating for some readers.

Hallie was so funny and I want to be her bestie irl and Jack kept up with her goofiness and was such an endearing character-Just all around cuteness that’ll make you swoon and laugh and love love-The banter is top notch and had me cackling , if there’s one thing about Lynn painter it’s that she makes me lol-I hope they make this into a movie bc that end scene in the rain 🌧️ BYE it was so perfect-This is book 2 in a series of interconnected stand alones. 🥹). The banter between the couple is exquisite, I adore both main characters equally and was rooting for them to find love so much.

Unfortunately Hallie has to attend her sisters wedding soon and without a date Jack offers to be her fake boyfriend, but as the line between friends and partner becomes blurred the couple find it hard to remember why they aren’t actually together in real life. Fun easy quick read that will have you laughing out loud as you read. book 2 in the Mr Wrong Number series - which I did not know and haven’t read the firstHallie and Jack are both newly single, and after a drunken night together they accidentally stumble across each other on a dating app. Both are looking for a soulmate they even had a bet who found soulmate Frist .

One thing that I like in book is when they put the text conversation this book has a lots . My thoughts: LOVED THIS! The chemistry between them was so intense, I wanted to cry at the end.
