Sunscreen performance probably varies due to Waterproof and water resistance claims, but the stickers worked great! So these are useful even though they don't turn all the way clear. The dye on the sticker is solar activated.

We read the instructions, put it on, went out and let it get some sunlight and afterwards put on the suncream. No nagging! But then I looked at the clock and realized about 2 hours had passed, so I needed to reapply sunscreen. They stay in place well and don't feel like anything once on.
