this mic not really picking up noises from behind itself or from the sides so its very good if you have bad recording environment around you. Description says it has internal pop filter which is true but if u using it close to ur mouth (or you love to play with your voice using proximity effect) you will NEED TO use some extra filter as a good acoustic foam shield or something. In each purchase you get 1 microphone factory sealed and boxed directly by Rode.

This is my first XLR microphone and have had a Rode mic before so i knew they made good mics. Overall i am very happy, and finding a mic that suits a woman's voice is hard but the PodMic does a wonderful job.

3. It sounds great as well. At these prices the Podmic is a must have so get it guys. If u have some basic sound card (USB with XLR input) Im almost sure the signal level will not be enough to use it well.

This mic is so good I purchased 2 of them as you can see in the image. The thing I don't like is the built-in pop filter This thing is also built like a tank, top notch build quality. Im using a TONOR T20 which is good but only if you "hanging" the mic with it so as you see on the photo, so the other direction is not really working with it coz cannot hold the weight.
