Brought this as a treat to self, tore open the parcel like a kid at Christmas and thankfully I was not disappointed! I think over time, water usage on this palette would ruin the paper dividers so it is probably wise to take the paint out, this may be why the cost was much lower than other tin palettes I have purchased. These paints are highly pigmented, soft and creamy. I have ordered the 24 original colour set too, very excited!

Personally arches has my heart but objectively, both Mozart and Arches show the colours for what they are. Create lovely colourful paintings.

They are beautiful to look at as well as use! I have, however, used this palette intact and I didn't find much trouble keeping the water in the paint pans. They are very pigmented but are easily watered-down for more of a translucent finish.

To extend the experience, the inside of the lid hosts a genius colour chart for you to fill in - a great way to test the paints AND have a handy guide for future reference. These Kuretake Art Nouveau colours are absolutely Beautiful! The paint is very Good quality, highly pigmented and smooth as silk. These are lovely paints, not like western watercolours though so do read reviews.

I Highly recommend them to anyone who paints with watercolour. Curious about the metallics?

I find as a beginner watercolourist that I had to learn how to use these for a different end result. I highly recommend them for all watercolor artists whether beginners or professionals. Onto the paints themselves, these are watercolours like no other I've tried.

I also have the gold set which is beautiful and strong once dried. If you're on the fence, get off and buy these, at the very least you'll have oodles of fun. The silver, bronze and gold are all vibrant and iridescent with a wonderful and rich colour payoff. I have 2 sets of these beautiful paints they are vibrant and colourful, I have just bought another large set on behalf of my friend in our Art group, she loves them too.
