The gun was light and the battery life went on and on. These immediately jammed the DeWalt. The package comes with a few pins which allowed me to finish my project and allowed me to know what pin type to order for the next project.

I have no idea how I would have done this without the pin nailer, but with it, it came out perfectly. Second project was replacing old, beat-up, 30-year-old plastic parts boxes with 50 new ones I made from pine. Arrived as described.

One note: my local hardware store stocks only Metabo pin nails. I suggest adjusting the depth of the nail on a scrap piece to make sure you are happy with the depth adjustment.

Although these nails are very thin, the grip the wood like iron and are nearly impossible to pull out. Great tool, love that I can use my 18V battery on this I think its because they have a plastic coating that heats up when they are driven, and grips the nail tightly. Pin nailers are magic.
