The only other issue I had with this monitor was the delivery. The response time on the monitor makes it ideal for gaming as well as the high refresh rates allow for those faster reactions. I was a bit skeptical at first when I recieved this monitor.

Depending on when you receive the monitor you may run into a simple issue which is the firmware that comes with the monitor. You can get close to 2ms response times with the overdrive enabled at its fastest, but that will bring in noticeable ghosting, and for such a marginal gain to the cost, it’s not really worth that in my opinion. I’m not however using this monitor to its full potential yet.

The biggest thing I need to overcome with this monitor is the curve because my last Samsung monitor was a flat panel and boy is this thing curved? I sit approx 60-80cm away from the screen and I find the immersion in gaming perfect, lightening fast response times both in terms of screen refresh and input lag.

With HDR on you’ll find probably for the first time, it’s actually too bright to look up to the in-game sun in the sky! I use my monitor for gaming, and I need a monitor to perform at low and high refresh rates. I had just returned a good value for money 32" VA panel (only get what you pay for erh), was on the verge of buying a IPS screen, but I love the high contrast ratios VA panels offer over the vibrant nano screen colours that LG offer. You can find a guide on the firmware update through Samsung website.

Also I've heard a lot of people experiencing problems with flickering that has something to do with G-sync. Please be aware, the monitor comes with only a Display Port cable (which you are better off using to get the most out of the monitor). Its mounted to my VESA Flexible arm using 100x100. It you get an arm to mount it, get a strong one because cheap arms which claim to cater for its load will struggle with the centre of gravity of its curvature at the tilt point.
