ps Some wireless xbox controller chargers on here have been reported to damage controllers, so I decided to use a simple duracell AA battery charger instead. Good controller.

Colour is exactly how I expected. I chose the robot white xbox controller, and received a robot white series S/X controller.

Other than that, it's still a good controller, and if you aren't going to use it for many games which require many d-pad combinations (such as in retro fighting games) then you shouldn't have a problem with it. Doesn't feel cheap, feels like strong plastic which adds to the durability of the controller.

I avoid non branded items and made up brand name chargers for safety. Overall, excellent piece of kit that I recommend buying, especially over third party controllers which is often 50/50 in terms of quality, but with the official controller you get Microsoft quality. I have not had it long enough to experience this. Microsoft has added texture on the LT/RT buttons and the back panels which allows for better grip which is a fantastic addition.
