but I wasn't looking for a tea towel, or spoon that would wear with age, and end up in the proverbial junk drawer. . It is small in size but very beautiful, a beautiful reminder of this very important and historic world event! as a way to note that they were alive for the end of one era, and the beginning of another, it is worth picking up, and passing on to a young one, when the time is right.

I find the King James version of the Bible to be a bit like reading Shakespeare, so while I wouldn't recommend giving this to a child to read. It's a very small KJV Bible (hardcover, three-sided gold, illustrated), but the letters are so small that it might be a bit difficult to read without a book reader. When I saw this, I decided I had found my "something" to mark that I had been "aware" of the end of Queen Elizabeth's reign, and the Beginning of the reign of Charles III. Font made too small to read without a magnifier.

The first few pages prior to the Traditional bible text introduction has a few photos, the Coronation Chair, Westminster Abbey and a portrait of the new King and Queen. Classic shakespearean style English as expected with the Authorised King James Version. 5cm tall 11cm wide and about 3cm thick, text is just over 1mm tall so you need 20/20 eyesight to read it. This edition of the Authorised King James Bible reminds me of my Grandmothers little bible with photos of classic painting, fabric/card binding, pages edged with gold leaf.

Definitely makes a nice souvenir keepsake of the coronation. Measures 14.
A very small hardcover, gilded, KJV with sandals. I wanted something to mark the end of one era, and the beginning of a new one. The pictures at the front for the Coronation are nice -- but really the "paintings" throughout the Bible are what's beautiful and worth taking some time with.
The Bible is small, so unsurprisingly the font is small also. I loved getting this Bible.
This is not a Bible to read from each night, so it now sits with my Grandmother's Bible, and just as I received hers when she passed away, and that marked the end of an era, this marks a change that only time will tell what it means.
