I've yet to find something it cannot undo, you have up to 1600 Nm of nut busting torque & up to 1000Nm of tightening torque. I can highly recommend it. and very fast shipping The media could not be loaded.

First of all, this is a great device of the DTW1002 unfortunately, but the rubber on the lower part of the handle has easily loosened you. A really powerful bit of kit, will undo a M30 nut ( 46mm socket ) that's staked & tightened to 400 Nm with ease. I had the one from Bosch before and have to say that the Makita didn't get it all up.

The only downside is that it's really top heavy, the battery does not balance it much, and that because the unit itself is so massive, getting it into some spaces can be a challenge. It's got masses of torque.

I recommend this screwdriver to everyone. I bought the makita dtw700 before I bought this one and although it pulls up to 700 nm with the charged battery it couldn't unscrew a wheel bolt of the car I had previously pulled at 140 nm. Successful purchase, the tool seems robust I got this Makita impact gun on them and they just gave up straight away.

I just used it for the first time to change the brakes on the truck and got the wheel nuts loosened without any problems. Compared to the DTW 700 (little brother) I would decide again for the DTW 1002. The unit comes with a belt clip which is bordering on ludicrous. I chucked it.
