I took the handles off the doors and used a four inch sponge roller to apply the paint to the flat part using a round brush for the grooves. I waited 3-4 hours before re-painting. 5. ).

! Now, do I have the bottle to tackle my beech-effect kitchen units?

Ok, the shelf parts took two after years of shower gels and creams and things sitting on them, that was expected. Check for drip marks though as the paint is a thick consistency! Over the moon, i sugar soaped them prior to applying the paint, some bits needed a second coat but mainly 1 coat was enough, 1 tin of paint was enough and more for my whole kitchen I did 4 thin coats, it goes on really easy, I just cleaned each cupboard door then lightly sanded then started painting!

Photo 2 is after 2 coats. I can’t believe these are the same cupboards! Clean thoroughly. I just took off the handles and left the doors in place.

My old utility room cupboards had really yellowed but were otherwise in good condition. Please note it’s not the same colour as on the tin, it’s much more of an off white than a cream but I think it’s lovely - see photos for before and after. Dry with paper towel.
