the first one lasted 9 years ( still usable but beat up ) the Kong retractable Leash is basic and sturdy and holds up well . But even with me, it feels good in my hands. Good thing I inspected it before using it that day, or the leash could have snapped while we were walking near moving vehicles.

Absolutely love it. I also like the fact that it doesn't tangle with my other leash because I walk 2 dogs. . But you could save yourself.

Also it’s a reflective tape, very nice color and I feel safe using this on my pup. At first, this leash was awesome (it allowed for a lot of free movement for my small dog), but after a week and a half of use, the leash (tape) ripped halfway through near where it latches onto my dog's harness. Don't think it will last more than five time for my dog. A leather leash isn't really lighter.

My dog likes to chew on it. It has a bigger handle, but is not uncomfortable. I would buy it again, even more with the good price that we got here.
