About this deal

And then, with Reaper and Sandra far from Haven, the feral horde takes to the road. by Baldacci, David | Fiction & related items Published 29/10/2019 by PAN MACMILLAN (Pan Books) in the United Kingdom as part of the Amos Decker series series Paperback | 656 pages In Redemption Song, Mike Marqusee argues that Ali was not just a boxer but a remarkable political figure in a decade of tumultuous change. Call us on: +442033020460 But not only the hopeful and the decent are coming together in ever-greater numbers. Reaper and Sandra are soon embroiled in a bloody struggle for power that threatens to engulf and then enslave most of the country. To the north, the city of Newcastle has become invested by a feral horde that Reaper knows will sooner or later turn rapacious gaze towards Haven and the communities under its protection. Ex-cop, Jim Reaper and his small band of trained ‘enforcers’ have successfully defended the little community of Haven that Reaper founded in North Yorkshire and it has become the hub of trade and co-operation between the dozens of peaceful settlements that comprise most of what’s left of northern England. And we're updating this list every week. It’s been a year since the virulent flu-like pandemic known as ‘SuperSARS’ wiped out over 98% of the world’s population turning Britain into a land of chaos, carnage and terror for the few survivors.

Reviews

Terry A. Benedict-Devine

Amos Decker is back in his hometown of Burlington, Ohio to visit his wife and child’s graves. The little distances I felt till now is completely coverd by this book because it is not only book about justice but it is a story to get redemption.

Anubhab Barik

Town coverups by multiple characters suspect to killings, (old and current) lies and blame are in abundance. Mary Lancaster again joins Amos as his partner in the investigation.

Angie

First, Meryl tells Amos hehas been given a compassionate release from prison as a result of terminal cancer and second, he relates to Decker that he was wrongly accused of four murders 15 years ago by Decker and wants his name cleared. Book by book he becomes more relatable as if I know him personally. Meryl’s dying request embarks the Memory Man on a journey of mystery, murders and suspicion. Thank you!

Ali Hanaan

While grieving his family, Meryl Hawkins, his first convicted murder case, approaches him with two issues. I almost read every thriller series written by David Baldacci and I know every protagonists of his writings but Amos is the best creation ever by him.
