All in all very impressed. Recommended. I googled how to fix this, and this particular cement came up as the best stuff for the job.

Not sure how it's going to work with heat . We have a log burner in our house and when we recently moved in we noticed that the cement in the joins between the top of the fire and the chimney were starting to crack, and fumes/smells were seeping into the living room when we had the burner lit. Good job. Bought this fire cement to secure my masonary bbq together. To be honest, as was so cheap, did have my doubts. No more fumes seeping into the room when lit either.
