About this deal

Simply connect the Ceiling Scraper to any standard extension handle. For stripping wallpaper, we recommend using the XSR-200/300 with a BSF blade - a 50mm long flexible blade that really gets under wallpaper to take it off quickly. Re-developed based on the BSR scraper, the OLFA® XSR-200/300 benefits from X-DESIGN™ excellence. The scraper comes equipped with a heavy duty 0. The body is also re-enforced with fibreglass, for ultimate durability and resistance to everyday materials and solvents. No loose blades, no scraped rubbish clogging up the blade channel, no frustration.

It does what it is meant to do. As long as you stick with grocery bags you will be fine. Quickly takes down the popcorn ceiling.

Used this scraper for the first time today. !

Good luck do it yourselfers We were able to scrape our ceiling (18x14 living room) in a day, luckily our popcorn ceiling was not put on thick and was painted under the popcorn so removal was nice.

Overall I am happy. If you think your going to use bags larger than a standard grocery bag, think again.

CONS: The handle bends a bit and needs to be re-adjusted over a few uses. My ceiling turned out great! Works great. Only complaint would be that the handle will bend at the base and you just need to bend it back so that it remains flat/right angle and scrapes nicely.

No biggie. Like that it has a place to add an extension handle. This also kept the mess to a huge minimum!
