The latter is rotatably mounted. I attached the carabiner to a belt loop. The coiled cable can be easily extended to 1 meter and then returns to its original length. I wanted to prevent someone from pulling it out of my pocket unnoticed.

This is long enough to be able to take photos (including selfies) and short enough to prevent the smartphone from hitting the ground if it falls out of my hand (am 1. The lanyard is pretty stretchy and strong as well the clips aren’t not flimsy at all. I bought the product as an anti-theft device for my smartphone. The carabiner sometimes snags a bit, but a little bit of fat probably helps.

It remains to be seen whether the sleeve will come loose at some point (is glued). It would be hard for someone to unhook it without you noticing that’s for sure. This comes with two phone case inserts and one lanyard. As a result, the eyelet does not rub through the fabric of the loop due to the friction, I think.
