I have since superglued the plastic piece and it seems to have taken, it's a pity this has been a possible problem with transport or quality control. We are really happy with it! Easily set up in a matter of minutes. A manual is provided with easy clear instructions to assemble and use.

Definitely recommend. Off course it's not going to be the same flavour as charcoal ones but def this is really good product; easy to clean, with lid, not too big but enough for a family, it have the standing part with makes easier to use “outside” and a really good value for money.
