This device can jump a dead battery, fill up your tires or power up your devices. So I had my doubts about the claims of how quiet this one would be. Machine was unfortunately sent with no safety release valve though.

This compressor is actually quieter than my Henry vacuum cleaner! It's very quiet, for example, I can stand next to it having a conversation with someone and don't have to raise my voice and my cat, who darts off at lightning speed at the sound of a vacuum cleaner, merely raises an ear in the direction of the compressor when I turn it on, then goes back to sleep. I've used a few different air compressors in the past and they've all been oppressively noisy when the motor kicks in, especially in an office environment.

Very well made and allows me to regulate the amount of air at the output - ideal for pressurising my IK foam Pro 12 spray canister. I would imagine this compressor would work well with small paint sprayers and air brush equipment. I bought this for blowing the dust out when servicing IT equipment.
Cheaper and more time saved to replace the part myself than to return and wait for replacement.
