It's not too long after the advent of Blu-ray admittedly, but still a while - BUT boy was it worth even that short wait ! The multi-stranded, but intertwined, story covers the antics of a pair of hitmen, their mob boss/his wife and a bribed boxer (by the boss) along with various ancillary (but still significant) characters in and around Los Angeles over 2 days sometime in the early '90s.

There are also some new extras for this release, PLUS the possibility of getting a Steelbook version (which I of course succumbed to - pictures of it added to the main Amazon page for your perusal and titillation ! You will see scenes shot from behind someone's head, intense close-ups, shots taken at unusual angles, periods of darkness, introductory titles to certain scenes, the odd graphical element or printed footnote and countless dissolves/fades to separate the 'action'.
