I highly recommend! In addition, one of my first projects involved flannel and terry cloth. I make a lot of embroidered bags, both in cloth and using upholstery or glitter vinyl.

I got the last two pieces of flannel and two pieces of terry marked, cut, and folded in about 15 minutes! It came today, and I decided to see how much faster I could cut my pieces. It's a good purchase, received the blade today and tested on some cotton fabrics with folded in 8 layers and it did cut the fabric smoothly.

I couldn’t have done much more due to the hand fatigue (I have bad hands anyway). You do need to put little pressure and hold the blade steady and in one stroke; 'voila'. If you have a lot of tight curves/angles, you might want to go for the smaller blade option, but this was perfect for what I needed.

Easy to use safely. Good product. things right away, I thought a rotary cutter was in the “would be nice, but not necessary” category. Couldn’t I just use a good pair of scissors?

I was worried about dulling my 'good scissors' and also about wastage (of both product and time). I already have one of these cutters at the day job, for cutting card and paper in an office environment and enjoyed the safety feature of the auto-retractable blade - because, quite frankly I'm a clumsy mare and could quite easily cut a finger off. im new to leather craft but tried using so many knives to cut leather these rotary knifes cut through it very easily especially when its a straight cut, it can cut curved cuts as well but not in one single movment if that makes sense, i like this brand i revkon it will last a very long time, i like this especially as i make small items inspired by the american indian fringe.

And no hand fatigue! The media could not be loaded. This cuts through denim, quilters cotton, glitter vinyl and upholstery vinyl with very little effort.

It took very little pressure, and the cuts were precise, easy, and fast. I recently started getting into sewing (machine sewing-I’ve been hand sewing for forever) after inheriting my husband's great grandmother’s sewing machine.
