Some years ago I discovered Milwaukee cordless tools were actually tools comparable enough to corded to justify their use. The Dewalt is lighter, more compact, and the screw depth control nose cone is a feature the Milwaukee lacks.

Just Another Earthling

I have been using a corded Milwaukee drywall gun for the last twenty years to install redwood decking. Explaining my rating system:5 - a superior product - I would recommend4 - above average – a great choice3 - average – what one might generally expect2 - below average – I would advise seeking an alternative1- Horrible – a waste of your valuable money - avoid if at all possible The bit is removable so you can use this with any type of screw your heart desires and the "nose cone" is also removable - just in case I guess. For the price, I am disappointed that only includes one battery.

I am normally a Milwaukee man, but I am not adverse to using other brands if they prove reliable enough. To be fair though, the tested Milwaukee was vintage tool that is no longer in production.

When I opened up this driver, I was surprised by how small it is. I have had such poor performance from others, - I will rarely give any others a try. It has an LED light and a belt clip that can used on either side of the screw gun.
