I don't think it would be suitable as a carrier on its own due to her size/weight but it seems perfect for what I need. This is as good as the same size as her old one (see pic), but as its a softer frame I can fit it inside the stroller for extra security and peace of mind (see pics(. We needed to size up our carrier as the little monster is growing fast! Cute and comfortable.

My 12 years old beloved Female Siamese cat was traveling from UK to Thailand via Munich with Lufthansa in the cabin with me. She tried to push her head through the top a few times, because I'd previously left it open at home. We left it by the window with the top and side open so he could explore and get comfortable in it and he regularly sleeps in it now. Vital bits are washable.

He might still outgrow this one (he's half Maine Coon), and they don't make it any bigger though as we bought the largest size. Size is good for my 12-18 month old cat. Really nice carrier.

As we had to go through many long escalators in all airports I was worried that I might slip the suitcase handle so I hold it tightly but she looked kind of ok inside. Why have my poor cats put up with plastic carriers for decades?
