This may seem trivial, but one brand I just recycled had split at the tops where I had to dig them out of the controller as they were bulkier, and not so precise. Eneloop pro aa 2670mahThe Eneloop pro aa’s tested at around 2670mah compared to 2080mah for the standard aa’s on my charger/testerI’ve never had any trouble with Eneloop batteries supplying less than the stated power, even after a couple of years. These however go for session after session before they are discharged. Im a photographer in the British Army so need them to be reliable, and as the stuff I shoot is fast paced and usually in different lighting conditions - I need the fast recycle time.

They are a higher 2500 ma/H so can handle high drain devices such as remote control cars, or camera flashes. Great for motorised kids toys, or anything were extra battery life is important.

Also I note that the Xbox software detects and warns when these are nearly exhausted, whereas with the others there would often be no warning, suddenly mid game the control would shut down 😖. I am reviewing now as I just bought another set. I use these for Xbox controllers which in turn powers my headset and as a hard user I expect to get more than a single 4hr session per charge.

Expensive but worth the premium. The Duracell's / Sony didn't last more than a session and a bit.
