I was not enjoying our walks lately because people would look at me like I am not able to handle my big dog and would not believe me he is just a playful puppy. It does definitely take some of the strain from her pulling though, we have to have it as big as it goes but she has a big head so that isn't surprising!

Even if they slip out of the nose piece on a walk, the design of this equipment is such that they still have the collar part on and will not escape and run off. The media could not be loaded.

We found that a regular shoulder harness did nothing, so I spent a lot of time reading reviews of different nose harnesses and settled on this one, which I am now so grateful for. I've found that not only does it help us with his daily walks, but I can now also ask my family to look after him because they aren't dreading the dog-walking process.

Having an eight months old Newfoundland male we started having difficulties walking him as he is getting strong as a horse. Overall - you have to try this if your dog pulls on the lead.

Aside from that though, I have no complaints because I don't get pulled down hills or into ponds any more! Once the gentle leader is adjusted correctly it is so easy to put on. Yes, your dog will hate it at first, but give them a little positive reinforcement while at home, and then immediately take them for a walk.

He does have a moment or two during the walk when he tries to take the collar of but I distract him with treats and he forgets about it and walks beautifully next to me like the best behaved dog in the world. Cons - Your dog will try to wriggle out of it every single walk, and because the lead clips on under the chin it does mean a lot of picking up their paws as the lead gets wrapped around them when they run. This has helped with the pulling along with a shock absorbing lead. Literally life changing!
