To decrease curvature of the frame then turn the bolt in an anti clockwise direction. If you find that the bolt has come loose then do this. I found that the bolt was just turning and not doing anything. We are probably the best 2 ends of the spectrum to try this and it suits us both fantastically well.

I work at a desk at home for about 8 hours a day, sometimes not moving much at all so my back suffers because of it. I have identified that to fit in the relatively flat box, the frame needs to be it’s slackest form, basically the frame needs to be at it’s lowest curvature. But please would the manufacturer highlight that the bolt can come loose in the instructions. It would certainly help prevent buyers from either throwing this in the bin or sending it back.

The back stretcher came in a well packaged box with simple to follow instructions. It is possible, as in my case, that the bolt which sits beneath the frame can come loose from the barrel insertion.

I am not that flexible (little understatement) so I was concerned before ordering this that I wouldn’t actually be able to use it. A quick, easy, and Inexpensive way to improve back health, fully relaxes and loosens stiff back muscles and can relieves back pain, tension, and stress. It's comfortable to lie on and works well with good support.
