But it's completely different with Shining. But thanks to HDR, many scenes in the hotel also look simply well illuminated and with a good sense of depth. Jack Nicholson extraordinary.

would have been missing something! This has been criticized in part here, which I cannot understand.

I thought it was unbelievable that this movie is supposed to be from 1980. The atmospherically dense horror classic with Jack Nicholson in the 23-minute longer version leaves nothing to be desired as it offers more plot than in the original version and this offers more entertainment all around, so that you can enjoy Shining even more! If the 23 minutes had been gone, MMN.

I'm only rating the 4K Blu-Ray here, I don't have to say anything else about the classic itself. I also know other films by Kubrick, such as 2001 Odyssey, which I just found terribly boring, as it wasn't supposed to be a real film but more of a musical or a kind of “art”. I was glad it also included the regular non-4K Blu-Ray disc because it does not mention it on the front cover. Nothing more needs to be said about the movie.

Other voice actors were also hired for the longer scenes, but they complement each other perfectly and the extended scenes fit in seamlessly. The story is once again relatively complex, but still very easy to understand, even if you haven't read the book. Some scenes were dubbed later because they were missing from the original version. After Odyssey, my expectations were very low and I was overwhelmed a lot.

Unfortunately, the audio is a miserable 2. There is also 23 minutes more content here with the longer US version. Too bad about the famous missed scene at the hospital, where Mr.
