Natalie Ellis

The illustrations are not that realistic, yet are very relatable and busy, with snippets of pocket-size, interesting information and cartoonish speech bubbles. A great book to help children understand the role of the Royal family.

⭐Bubs & Puds⭐

4 x 1 x 28cm. See Queen Elizabeth’s early years as a princess, travel through her magnificent palaces, spot her sparkling crown jewels at her coronation and meet her very famous family! In a book this size, it is obviously difficult to cover the life of ‘Our Queen Elizabeth’, but there are bits & pieces I would not have expected to be included and others that are not here, especially in the section entitled ‘THE BIGGEST EVENTS IN HISTORY’. This is the Hachette Children's Books Our Queen Elizabeth : Her Extraordinary Life From The Crown To The Corgis by Kate Williams, Hardback, 32 pages and measures 25.

Mr C

It's very interesting, (even for me), and she loves to recite little facts she has picked up along the way. 5 cm x 25. This details how she trained as a mechanic / ambulance driver during the war, to how she fell in love with Philip, the birth of her 3 children, their children and all the important events via time line.

CobWeb

It is quick and easy to read and absorb and as you would expect with children’s literature, it does gloss over numerous details. It includes lots of facts and lovely illustrations however the first page of my copy was folded over and seems to have been missed when trimming the pages. ❓ Did you know that the Queen had to hide in cobwebbed dungeons during the Second World War?
