Great for every situation from home use to studio to live performance. Not even close to the top of the line unit.

The tuner also isn't great - I'd get a tuner pedal. two editors avalible Boss Tone studio for GT and GT-100FX Floorboard both free thanks for reading It's cheaper and takes up less pedalboard space than getting separate pedals or the Boss GT-100. The amp modelling in the preamp is fine - not a substitute for my valve amp, but good for late night practice with headphones.

I have other separate boss stomp boxes that I think I can link up in series with the unit as well, glad I bought it. If you're looking for an easy to use guitar processor which comes with an the bells and whistles, has great build quality, offers amazing collection of legendary tones and is super portable, look no further.
