Ottolenghi and crew do it again! So far I have made the beans with preserves lemon chilli and garlic, the celebration lamb and chicken rice, the cauliflower filo pie and magical chicken soup- all have been huge hits and I look forward to making more. Real shame. If you like the other Ottolenghi books, then this won’t disappoint!

Every recipe I have made so far has been delicious, not quick, but not difficult- even a recipe that the author describes as almost too laborious to have included- was time consuming but not challenging, and worth the outcome. Love the book. Loving the first few recipes from this book!

Lots of tasty ideas, simple to put together, love the ingredients based index, great for using those vegetables in the fridge before shopping again. Excellent non recipe related writing and fantastic recipes, have already tried a few and so worth the buy. Really accessible recipes from the OTK. Also recipes have lots of alternatives to change the flavour or just go with the ingredients you have to hand.

Would thoroughly recommend. If you are new to Ottolenghi this book and ‘Simple’ would be a great starter pack as they use more common every day ingredients. Try the Mediterranean style fried rice with anchovy lemon dressing - superb. A beautiful book with accessible and brilliant recipes.

This was difficult to remove and left a sticky mark. But the book was packed badly and the back flap of the envelope stuck to the back of the book.
