Nevertheless it doesn‘t hurt if you are familiar with the history of the DC multiverse and the Infinite Crisis and Final Crisis storylines. A little advice:You have to remember that this is like-a-conclusion to the METAL era, so, if you have not read this saga, you could miss some facts or details that will affects your reading experience.

Great comic book! ) While Death Metal is an entertaining read there are some bothering aspects. If you wanted to skip, you could theoretically just read volume five, and than jump to this.

About the physical book:Is bigger than another HC books, the dustjacket has foil details and the title letters comes in high relief. Typical Snyder if he continues to tell a story it must be a bigger tale with wider impact.
