I was using a Huawei AX3 before with my Huawei 5G CPE outdoor router, 200Mbps tops over Wifi / 350 tops on a LAN cable - Now 500Mbps every test, absolute bargain and flying now with nearly 50 devices connected. I also changed the internal IP addresses (historical reasons). Attached Archer Router to the Virgin Hub 4.

com” with no password to get the router working with bts fibre connection. 2. 1.

I’m on the second floor and the routers in a cupboard under the stairs. I'm on 600mb/s virgin media (the virgin hub in modem mode). 4 and 5ghz on separate wifi connections which also gives extra boost on coverage I am pretty tech savvy anyway, but know that this has such a user friendly interface that setting up for anybody would not be at all challenging.

The issue with my old one was that after a few days the 5Ghz wifi just went off. See photo for results! Well I must admit I was very surprised on the performance.

Alan Went through the tether app to set up.

Oh - and since bt are useless with getting 3rd party routers to work - if you buy this and have fttp, during set up use “bthomehub@btbroadband. Note - this is different from connecting to the Wi-Fi network itself. Let's see how long it lasts.

I then connected to the wifi and ran a speed test. The test was done at some distance with flooring and walls in between though your milage will vary The media could not be loaded.
